Java Developer (Top Secret Clearance)

Skiltrek is working directly with our government integrator to provide Java Developers in support of their M2C2 program (below).

Program Overview: The U.S. Marine Corps are evaluating On the Move / Over the Horizon (OTM/OTH) capabilities for deployable maneuver elements, providing command and control elements with efficient, broadband connectivity for voice and data communications. The M2C2 systems, designed by a govt. integrator that is comprised of an integrated communications suite carried on a HMMWV, and transportable with a single UH-60 class helicopter. The system supports nine radios, including two enhanced position locating and reporting system (EPLRS) , four SINCGARS VHF sets, a PRC 150 UHF, two PSC-5 satellite communication (SATCOM) radios, all accessible through workstations connected to the terminals can also display video and images. Several M2C2 vehicles can be linked into a network, to support a deployed command post.

In the Java Software Engineering role, you will design, develop, and test Java code in an Agile, DevOps environment. We are at the forefront of aerospace and defense technology. Our Satellite Ground Systems Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring communication, surveillance, and defense capabilities through cutting-edge satellite systems. There are about 400 people on the program and you will be working in teams of 10-15 people.

1.) ACTIVE Top Secret clearance, with SCI Eligibility

- Willingness to get a Polygraph (if requested)

2.) 5+ years of back end true Java coding development experience

- needs solid skills in coding from scratch, new java development (Not front end - no servlets, web pages, scripting, etc)

- Can they code a new algorithm directly in Java? (not looking for just "familiarity" in Java etc)

3.) Willing to work 100% onsite in the Aurora, Colorado Campus, SCIF setting. (OR State College, PA / Dulles, VA / Richardson, TX)

4.) Deploying code in an Agile Environment

5.) Existing domain expereince in mission management or command and control for satellite ground systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Computer Science degree from accredited engineering program (This is a plus)

**** Current TS Clearance (SCI eligible) required and willing to take a polygraph as requested.****
